One Ingredient Face Packs- PAPAYA

Papaya is a powerhouse of essential nutrients. It’s not just great for your health but can also be used as a one-ingredient face pack to nourish your skin and bring back its natural glow.
Papain, an active enzyme that is naturally found in papaya helps in exfoliating dead skin, hydrating the skin cells and improving skin tone. Papaya makes an excellent anti-ageing face pack as the alpha hydroxyl acids in it prevents signs of ageing, such as wrinkles and fine lines. The vitamin E and C in it rejuvenates the skin.

Blend or mash up the soft ripe papaya into a lump-free puree. Apply this directly on your face and neck. After keeping it on for 20 minutes, when the pack dries, scrub it off gently. Now wash off your face with water.

BANANA

Generally, when you see overripe bananas with a couple of fruit flies buzzing around them, you toss them into the trash. Isn’t it? Well, I used to do that too! But now it’s the other way around. No doubt, overripe bananas may look ugly but they are packed with the powerful antioxidants, phytochemicals and vitamins. And that makes them the perfect addition to your all-natural face packs.
Bananas are the secret behind well-moisturized skin. They are better to be called as nature’s botox as they contain super wrinkle-fighting nutrients that help fade age spots and prevent fine lines and wrinkles from forming. If your skin is peeling and dry, try this out!

Get a small bowl, mash up a ripe banana with the back of your fork. Using clean fingertips, slather the banana face mask onto your face in gentle circular motions. EGG YOLK

Egg yolks are rich in fatty acids which can lend moisture to the skin. The yolk contains the bulk of the vitamins and minerals and applying for an egg yolk face mask transfers these to your skin. The nutrients in egg yolks work to hydrate, nourish, and moisturize dry & dull flaky skin.

Take an egg yolk, whisk it properly. Use a brush or your fingertips to apply a thick layer on the face. Make sure to leave the eye and the area around the eye to keep them safe. For this, you can put 2 pieces of cucumber on the eyes or 2 cotton balls. Now let it dry well. After drying completely, remove the layer using cold water.

HONEY

Honey is a natural humectant, which means that it not only attracts moisture to your skin, it also helps keep it there. It is loaded with probiotics, antioxidants, nutrients and enzymes which work together to nourish and plump the skin. Pure honey makes a wonderful face mask for dry skin. It helps control wrinkles and fine lines on the face and increase skin’s elasticity, thus making it look youthful and glowing. Honey is naturally antibacterial too, so this face pack is great for acne treatment and prevention.

Take a tablespoon of honey and spread a thin layer on damp skin (make sure to apply the honey after wetting your face, or else it will be too sticky). Leave on for about 15 minutes before washing off. You’ll find your skin hydrated, fresh and supple at all times.
