In 2014, 130 countries across the world supported UN resolution to declare 21st June as International Yoga Day. Since then, every year, on this date, Yoga has been celebrated with a tremendous enthusiasm to make people aware of how it bestows with a healthy body, mind and adds quality to life. Kudos to our PM Narendra Modi who made Indian Yoga a global phenomenon! With every passing year, International Day of Yoga (IDY) has received stupendous response from people from all walks of life. The theme for Yoga Day 2018 is “Yoga for Peace.” Today, as the world gears up to celebrate the 4th edition of IDY, everybody has rolled out their mats to join the bandwagon. Celebrities Practicing Yoga- PM NARENDRA MODI

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lead around 50,000 volunteers in Dehradun today to mark the fourth International Yoga Day celebrations.
In his address at Forest Research Institute, the Prime Minister said “people across the country are welcoming the sun.” He added that Indians should be proud of their traditions and only then the world will be proud of them.”

SHILPA SHETTY KUNDRA

The Bollywood actress and fitness enthusiast, Shilpa Shetty Kundra credits her fabulous body to yoga. She has been a yoga practitioner for many years. Here is what she has to say on International Day Of Yoga, 2018.
