Shilpa Shetty Kundra has surprised everyone by announcing the arrival of her newborn baby girl with husband Raj Kundra. They are on cloud nine and have named their daughter Samisha. While Shilpa Shetty welcomed baby girl in this world on February 15, 2020, but the Shetty-Kundra family decided to announce the news on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri today.
Shilpa and Raj got married in November 2009 and are already parents to their 7-year-old son Viaan who was born in May 2012.

Shilpa Shetty Welcomed Baby Girl!
The couple chose the social media platform to inform her fans and followers about their second child. Taking to her Instagram handle, Shilpa shared the news of the arrival of her angel, Samisha Shetty Kundra. She has shared a heartwarming photo with her little princess. While she hasn’t shared Samisha’s face, her tiny hand in the actress’s hand is enough to melt the hearts.

Sharing a picture, Shilpa wrote, “Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah. Our prayers have been answered with a miracle… With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house.”
Shilpa went on to explain the meaning of the name of the newborn. She wrote, “Sa in Sanskrit is ‘to have’, and Misha in Russian stands for ‘someone like God’. You personify this name – our Goddess Laxmi and complete our family. Please bestow our angel with all your love and blessings. Ecstatic parents: Raj and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Overjoyed brother: Viaan-Raj Kundra.”

While it is obvious that Shilpa has not given birth to the child, the actress and her husband have opted for surrogacy. Talking about her daughter, Shilpa says, “We are feeling ecstatic. It’s a surreal feeling just to hold Samisha in my arms. Raj and I wanted another child and were trying for the last five years. I had issues but thanks to my doctor, she made it happen through surrogacy. Can’t thank God and science enough.”
