Reduce Double Chin Fast Using Tape Instant Hack Effect

Double chin looks very annoying and embarrassing. Isn’t it? I have already discussed the variety of exercises to get rid of double chin in my earlier posts. But that requires time and patience. What if you get to reduce double chin fast and instantly? Yes, you can give a chiseled appearance to your jawline with this instant hack effect.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

Just forget the expensive moisturizer and face masks. To reduce your double chin fast, all you need is something you already have handy around the house – TAPE. Surprised ? I know, in an age of scientific cosmetic advances (botox, lasers, fillers, retin-A, and stem cell creams) doing something like that sounds silly. But once you see it’s instant hack effect, you will be more than happy to use it.

Avoid any old household tape for this purpose. Try using the medical tape you buy with gauze instead of scotch tape, as the glue is skin-friendly. There are many kinds of tape available, depending on which part of the world you live in. Some sell products, especially for the face taping. I would recommend using ‘kinesiology tape’. Here in this video, the girl is using Nexsey, a medical grade tape, made in the USA.

* If you have known allergies to tape or bandages of any kind, please do not try.

METHOD TO REDUCE DOUBLE CHIN FAST

  • Determine the length you need and pre-cut your strip.
  • 4-6 inch is a good length to start with depending on your neck size.
  • The strip should be long enough to fit on the back of your neck so it is not seen. It should be able to hide behind your hair or collar.
  • Secure your hair up off the back of your neck, be sure to get all the strands so it does not get caught on your tape.
  • Make sure the back of your neck is clean, free of lotions, oil and perspiration. It must be dry thoroughly. This is one of the most important things to remember.
  • Determine the area of your neck where you would like to start the tape.
  • Carefully hold the tape flat so it does not stick to itself. Now place one end of the tape to the left (or right) side of your neck, pull the tape taut, with excess skin being gathered under the tape and secure the remainder of the tape.
  • Hold in place for about a minute while gently moving your neck to make sure it holds in place.
  • Let your hair down or allow the collar to cover tape, as applicable.

ADVICE

  • Always make sure you completely dry your neck prior to applying or reapplying your strip.
  • If you feel the glue is strong, you can weaken it by simply pressing it on your hand several times.
  • Depending on the look you are trying to achieve, you can use more than one strip. Place one higher for the upper neck and jaw area and one below it for the lower area of the neck.
  • If you are in extremely humid conditions, or tend to perspire heavily, and have trouble with the tape sticking, do not fully remove the whole strip. You can just dry your neck thoroughly where the tape has loosened, reapply and hold firmly for a few seconds until it sticks.
  • Should the tape have become too wet and not re-stick you may need to carry a back-up strip in your purse.
  • Please remove the tape, gently, slowly and carefully using the moisture.
  • When you are ready to remove the strip, use lotion, oil or water to help remove the tape and adhesive. As the tape is designed to stick firmly, removing it quickly or by just pulling it off without moisture may hurt.

  1. So I’m wondering if I can use this trick to pull the sides of my face up to lift? Any suggestions on that area?
