Reportedly, the actor is essaying the role of Chandu Chekavar, an infamous warrior from the 16th century Kerala. He had to spot two different looks in the film. For one look, he had to gain 12 kg and for the other, he had to get into a muscular shape.

KUNAL KAPOOR FITNESS SECRET

The dedicated actor went through intensive workout sessions and had taken a lot of efforts to get the muscular look. According to the sources,

  • He was often seen hitting the gym at late hours once his shoot was over.
  • He had followed a strict regime under the guidance of his nutritionist and kept a close watch on his diet.
  • As he was required to lose weight for a certain duration, extra care was given on Kunal’s calorie intakes.

In one of the interviews, he talked about all his hard work – “I was training like a beast for almost six months. I have always been fit but this is the fittest and most muscular I have ever been. I play a warrior in the film and I wanted to make sure I felt and looked like one.”

Although in his Instagram posts, Kunal was hinting a lot about the hard work he had been doing to achieve a perfect muscular body. But this final upload has taken the internet by storm.
